Job Summary

As a Janitorial Cleaner at a Canada Post facility, you help maintain clean, orderly spaces that support daily operations. You carry out routine cleaning and basic facilities maintenance, following site procedures and using cleaning products and equipment responsibly. Your work helps colleagues use a tidy, well-maintained workplace throughout their shifts.

Responsibilities

- Clean floors, work areas, washrooms, and shared spaces using appropriate methods and supplies.
- Empty waste and recycling containers, replenish supplies, and keep cleaning equipment organized.
- Check assigned areas for cleanliness or maintenance concerns and report issues through established site procedures.




- Complete routine facilities maintenance tasks within the scope of the role and follow applicable safety practices.

Skills Required: Practical cleaning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures while using cleaning supplies and equipment safely. Basic maintenance awareness supports orderly facilities and timely reporting of concerns. Preferred: Commercial cleaning experience and familiarity with facilities maintenance are helpful strengths for keeping a busy workplace clean, organized, and ready for use.

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
