We are seeking an experienced and motivated Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel- and gas-powered generators and associated equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience working with heavy-duty equipment, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a solid understanding of power generation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform diagnostic tests, preventative maintenance, and repairs on diesel and gas engines
- Complete routine inspections/services and accurately document findings
- Respond to field service calls
- Routine equipment repair




- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Journeyman Heavy-Duty Mechanic or Registered Apprentice Heavy-Duty Mechanic
- Experience working with diesel-and gas-powered generators or heavy equipment considered an asset
- Robust knowledge of mechanical and electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and load testing
- Ability to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment efficiently and accurately
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and develop professionally
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Applicants must reside locally and be able to commute to our shop daily
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Safety certifications/tickets are considered an asset
