About Us The Deck Centre is a locally owned construction company specializing in custom decks, sunrooms, and outdoor living spaces throughout Southern Alberta.

We're looking for an experienced Journeyman Carpenter who takes pride in their work, works efficiently, and can contribute to a productive, professional crew.

Key Responsibilities

- Construct and install decks, sunrooms, pergolas, stairs, railings, and other outdoor structures.
- Perform accurate layout, framing, finishing, and installation work according to plans and specifications.
- Work efficiently and independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, measurements, and material specifications.
- Identify and resolve construction challenges with practical, cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site while helping the crew meet production schedules.

Qualifications
- Journeyman Carpenter certification (Red Seal considered an asset).
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on residential construction or carpentry experience preferred.
- Strong framing, finishing,



and general construction skills.
- Experience building decks, installing composite decking, railings, or sunrooms is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a productive work pace.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Comfortable working outdoors and performing physically demanding construction work.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
