The Role

We’re looking for an experienced service plumber to diagnose, repair and maintain plumbing and domestic water systems in high-rise condominiums, multi-family and commercial buildings. Most of your work will be in mechanical rooms, parkades and occupied suites. You’ll be the go-to plumbing expert for our operations team and building operators.

What You’ll Do

- Service and repairs: diagnose and repair domestic water, drainage, waste and vent systems in occupied multi-residential and commercial buildings.
- Mechanical room equipment: service and replace domestic hot water heaters and storage tanks, recirculation and booster pumps, PRVs, mixing valves and isolation valves.
- Drainage: troubleshoot blockages and leaks using sewer cameras and pressure testing. Maintain sump and sewage ejector pits, parkade drains and cast iron drain stacks.
- Backflow and compliance: repair backflow preventers and support annual testing, following the code and City of Calgary requirements.
- Water shutdowns: plan and carry out shutdowns,

and coordinate with property managers so residents are notified.
- Preventive maintenance: carry out scheduled PM on plumbing systems and equipment across the portfolio.
- Gas work: service and repair gas-fired water heaters, boilers and gas piping, within the scope of your gas certification.
- Documentation: record work in our mobile work-order system with before-and-after photos, clear notes and materials used. Flag building deficiencies and recommend repairs.
- Safety and teamwork: work alongside building operators, electricians and other trades while following safety protocols and building codes.
