Job Summary

Support arborists with safe, organized tree-care work as a Junior Arborist / Ground Crew Labor team member. Help prepare equipment, maintain the work area, and coordinate ground operations so crews can complete jobs efficiently and protect surrounding landscapes.

Inspect A Tree Inc. is a growing, climber-owned arboriculture company looking for a hardworking, reliable individual to join our crew.

We work on residential, commercial and municipal trees throughout the Lower Mainland.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

> Physically fit and capable of regularly lifting and handling over 50 lbs. Happy working outdoors in all weather conditions.

> High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Prepare and organize tools, ropes, and equipment; assist with setup and cleanup at each worksite.
- Support tree-care operations from the ground, communicate with crew members, and help maintain a transparent, orderly work zone.
- Assist with truck and chipper operation when directed and appropriate to the task.
- Contribute to landscape maintenance and use GIS information to support site planning and work documentation.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You’ll work alongside experienced climbing arborists, learning the ropes of professional tree care from the ground up.

The position starts with a three-month introductory period, with the potential to progress into a formal arborist apprenticeship if you’re a good fit for our team.

Pay: $21.00-$26.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
