The Junior Mechanical Designer will in this role work with the engineering team and work independently in the preparation of design documents in Solidworks. Design and Detailing of tooling based on concepts and direction from Intermediate and Senior designers. These may include general arrangement, complex assembly, fabrication/construction, and proposal drawings in conjunction with quoting, production, or development of customized and standardized custom equipment products. These products are largely in the automotive field but not limited to medical, petro chemical, pulp and paper.
Job Requirements:
Fully proficient with Solidworks
MS office
Working as part of a team
Problem solving skills
Able to make decision
Finding information
Willing to work in a quick pace environment
Excellent written & communication skills
Knowledge of Pneumatics, Hydraulics and mechanically would be an asset
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
