Kitchener Physiotherapy & Wellness is looking for a dedicated Kinesiologist to join our growing healthcare team!
Position: Registered Kinesiologist
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional movement assessments and physical evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized exercise and rehabilitation programs.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional training.
- Assist patients with recovery from injuries, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Monitor patient progress and modify exercise programs as needed.
- Educate patients on proper exercise techniques, posture, mobility, and injury prevention.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records.
- Work collaboratively with physiotherapists, chiropractors, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Kinesiology or a related field.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario (COKO).
- Solid knowledge of exercise prescription, rehabilitation, and human anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Passion for patient care and helping individuals achieve their rehabilitation goals.
