Department: Culinary Operations

Reports To: Executive Chef / Kitchen Manager The Roadrunner Food Co. is looking for hardworking, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our culinary team at Devil’s Glen Country Club.

We have opportunities for both part-time dishwashers and full-time Kitchen Hand / Dishwashers. Whether you're a high school student looking for your first job or an experienced kitchen team member looking for a full-time prospect, we'd love to hear from you!

Our dishwashing and kitchen support team plays an essential role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly. From maintaining clean dishes and equipment to supporting food preparation, organizing supplies, and keeping the kitchen clean and organized, this is an important position within our culinary operation.

We are looking for team players who take pride in their work, have a strong work ethic, and aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves.

Key Responsibilities: Dishwashing & Sanitation

- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment and ensure dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.
- Sort, organize, and return clean dishes and equipment to their designated storage areas.
- Maintain a steady flow of clean dishes and kitchen supplies during service.
- Keep dishwashing areas clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
- Complete cleaning and sanitizing duties throughout the shift.
- Maintain garbage, recycling, and waste disposal areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.





Kitchen Support & Food Preparation Primarily applicable to full-time Kitchen Hand positions.

- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation as directed.
- Wash, peel, chop, and portion ingredients.
- Assist with vegetable preparation, basic prep lists, and daily kitchen production.
- Help organize and rotate inventory and kitchen supplies.
- Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries.
- Maintain clean and organized prep stations, storage areas, and coolers.
- Support kitchen opening, closing, and general cleaning procedures.
- Provide additional kitchen support during busy service periods as required.

General Kitchen Operations
- Assist with maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness and organization.
- Clean floors, work surfaces, equipment, and designated kitchen areas.
- Follow cleaning schedules and daily task assignments.
- Communicate supply shortages, equipment issues, and operational concerns to supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with cooks, supervisors, and other kitchen team members.
- Be willing to jump in and help wherever needed.

Qualifications & Experience
- No previous experience required for part-time dishwasher positions. Training will be provided.




- Previous dishwashing, kitchen support, or food preparation experience is an asset for full-time applicants.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving kitchen supplies.
- Food Handler Certification is an asset for full-time kitchen support positions.

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
