About Us

Kinton Ramen is a Japanese ramen restaurant dedicated to serving delicious, high-quality ramen and providing an excellent customer experience. We are excited to open our new Surrey Central Food Court location and are looking for energetic, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join our kitchen team!

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, cook, and portion food according to Kinton Ramen recipes and quality standards.
- Set up and maintain kitchen workstations, ingredients, and supplies.
- Ensure food quality, proper temperatures, and consistent presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, and kitchen tools as required.
- Assist with inventory, receiving deliveries, and proper food storage.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures.




- Work efficiently with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.

· Maintain a friendly and professional attitude toward customers, demonstrate good menu knowledge, and be able to perform basic order-taking functions using the Point of Sale (POS) system when needed.

Qualifications

- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is an asset, but not required.
- FoodSafe or equivalent food safety certification is an asset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties.

Availability

- Flexible availability for weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: From $18.25 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
