We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and Skilled Labourer to join our team in a full-time position. In this role, you will work alongside our Lead Hand to execute a variety of residential/commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, possesses strong foundational construction skills, and can transition seamlessly between working independently and collaborating with the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Material Preparation: Accurately measure, mark, and cut various materials including drywall, plywood, and flooring, etc.
- Tool Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a wide range of hand and power tools.
- Project Execution: Take direction from the Lead Hand to complete daily tasks on time and up to company standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work independently on individual tasks or joint-effort projects as a cohesive team member.
- Site Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience:
Proven background in construction or a related trade.
- Technical Skills: Exceptional ability to read a measuring tape accurately and perform precise cuts.
- Tool Proficiency: Confident in using standard hand and power tools.
- Mindset: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, coachable attitude.
- Assets: Previous experience with basic plumbing or electrical work is a major plus.
