About PhysioCare At Home

Since 2004, PhysioCare At Home has brought physiotherapy, occupational therapy and kinesiology to older adults in their own homes. We work in five provinces, and our team in Halifax and Dartmouth is growing. We believe progress is possible, movement is medicine, consistency is key and health is wealth.

The role

As our Lead Physiotherapist in Dartmouth, you’ll treat older adults at home with a schedule our office books for you. You’ll also help shape our local team. About two hours a week go to leadership: welcoming new therapists, having them shadow you, and leading local practice meetups.

What you’ll do

- Assess and treat older adults in their homes across Dartmouth and the surrounding area
- Set treatment plans that our office books in, so you can focus on care
- Chart in Jane and build home exercise programs in Wibbi
- Work alongside our OT and kinesiology colleagues on shared care
- Welcome and mentor new therapists, and lead the local practice meetup
- Join our monthly National Clinical Education Series

- $40-$44 per hour, plus a performance bonus

What you bring

- Registered, or eligible to register, with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
- A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
- A clear vulnerable sector check
- A love of working with older adults, and the independence to thrive in home care
- Leadership experience is an asset
