This senior professional manager leads legal talent initiatives for associates across Gowling WLG’s offices. The Director partners with Department Chairs, Practice Group Leaders, Practice Directors, and shared services teams. The work includes recruitment, integration, mentorship, workload monitoring, career coaching, evaluations, compensation reviews, and progress tracking. Implement career development, mentorship, training, and associate integration programs

Provide career coaching, performance feedback, and development-plan follow-up

Review performance reporting to support leadership decision-making

Monitor budgets for recruitment, training, events, and career development

JD or Bachelor’s degree in law, depending on jurisdiction

At least five years of law firm lawyer experience

Corporate law experience considered an asset
