Licensed electrician needed for Durham Region based non-union Electrical Contracting company that has been present in the area for 37 years and has a focus on commercial new builds and renovation projects.
Applicants must have the following:
- 309A electrical certification
- Be in good standing with Skilled Trades Ontario (formerly Ontario College of Trades)
- Working at Heights, WHMIS (2020) and Workplace and Safety in 4 Steps training
- Must have their own tools
- Clean driving record with G license
- Valuable understanding of Ontario Electrical Code
- Experience running commercial job sites
Daily Tasks and Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize job sites
- Manage team of apprentices on site
- Troubleshoot, problem solve and repair wide variety of electrical devices and components.
- Read and interpret drawings, diagrams and electrical code specifications.
Wage to be determined based on experience. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.00-$40.00 per hour
