What You’ll Be Doing We’re looking for a friendly, knowledgeable Prescribing Pharmacist with Additional Prescribing Authority (APA) to help run our Pharmacy & Travel Clinic.
In this role, you’ll focus on what matters most—delivering great patient care:
- Lead our clinical care services, focusing mainly on minor ailment prescribing and travel health.
- Conduct travel consultations and offer evidence-based advice on prescriptions and OTC health products.
- Build genuine, lasting relationships with our patients so they always feel heard and well cared for.
- Keep everything running smoothly while maintaining standard pharmacy regulations and ethics.
What We’re Looking For
- Licensure: Registered Pharmacist in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).
- Certification: Additional Prescribing Authority (APA) is required.
- Experience: At least 1 year of prescribing experience (primarily minor ailments and travel health).
- Assets: A background in community pharmacy and hands-on travel consultation experience are big pluses!
- The Right Fit: You’re confident making clinical decisions, communicate clearly with patients and staff, and enjoy working collaboratively in a lively workplace.
