ABOUT THE ROLE

Summit Heights Retirement Residence is seeking a part-time, casual Limo / Bus Driver to join our team.

Schedule: Day shifts and weekends

Responsibilities:

- Safely transport residents on scheduled trips and outings.
- Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle.
- Operate vehicle equipment safely and follow transportation schedules.
- Complete vehicle safety checks and promptly report maintenance concerns.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and coordinate maintenance as required.
- Communicate clearly with residents, staff and management about transportation needs.

Qualifications:

- A valid Class B or F driver’s license with clean driving abstract.
- Ability to speak, read and write English and follow both verbal and written direction.
- A patient, courteous approach and an understanding of seniors’ needs.
- Valuable communication skills and attention to passenger safety.
- Training or practical experience in equipment maintenance is an asset.
