Cozy Cue Sports Bar is your neighborhood spot for great food, cold drinks, and live sports. With pool tables, big-screen TVs, and a welcoming, laid-back vibe, we pride ourselves on friendly service and quality bar food done right.
We're looking for an energetic, reliable team player to join our crew as a Line Cook / Server - someone who can crush it in the kitchen and on the floor.
What You'll Do
As Line Cook:
- Prep, cook, and plate menu items to order - burgers, wings, fries, appetizers, and specials
- Follow recipes, portion standards, and food safety guidelines
- Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized during service
- Assist with prep work, inventory, and deliveries as needed
- Communicate with servers and kitchen team for fast, accurate orders
As Server:
- Greet guests with a friendly attitude and take food & drink orders
- Serve food and beverages promptly and check back on tables
- Operate POS system, handle cash and card payments
- Keep bar area, tables, and cue/game area clean and welcoming
- Handle guest questions and resolve issues with great customer service
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a line cook, server, or bartender preferred - but willing to train the right person
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced sports bar environment
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and team-player attitude
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation basics
- Must be 18+ [21+ to serve alcohol - adjust per state law]
- Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 30-40 lbs
- Weekend, evening, and game-day availability
