Line Cook / Prep Cook

Employment: Full-time Hourly pay: $19.50 CAD Reports to: Chef de Partie (CDP) or Junior Sous Chef

· Prepare, portion, and cook menu items according to approved recipes, specifications, and plating standards.

· Complete daily mise en place, prep lists, and station setup to support restaurant and banquet service.

· Work efficiently on assigned line stations and assist with food preparation as operational needs change.





· Maintain food quality, consistency, portion control, and timely service during busy periods.

· Follow food safety, sanitation, allergen, labeling, storage, and temperature-control procedures.

· Keep workstations, equipment, coolers, and storage areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.

· Communicate shortages, preparation needs, and service issues promptly to the CDP or Junior Sous Chef.

· Assist with receiving, stock rotation, inventory control, and minimizing food waste.

· Work collaboratively with kitchen and service teams and perform other reasonable kitchen duties as assigned.

· Be available for versatile shifts, including weekdays, weekends, mornings, evenings, and holidays.

· Previous professional kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
