Overview The Loader/Plow Operator operates heavy equipment to support construction, paving, and snow-clearing work. This hands-on role involves moving materials, preparing and maintaining work areas, and helping crews complete projects safely and efficiently. Your work keeps sites accessible and helps colleagues maintain steady progress.

Responsibilities

- Operate loaders, plows, backhoes, excavators, dozers, and graders as needed for assigned work.
- Move materials, transparent snow, and support site preparation, grading, and paving activities.
- Perform routine equipment checks, identify mechanical concerns, and communicate maintenance needs to the team.
- Follow site procedures and coordinate equipment movements with coworkers, including during commercial driving or horizontal drilling support.

Requirements Required: Practical heavy equipment operation,



loader operation, and mechanical knowledge support safe, effective work; clear communication and attention to surroundings help coordinate tasks with the crew. Preferred: Construction experience and familiarity with Caterpillar equipment, backhoe operation, excavator, dozer, grader operation, paving, commercial driving, or horizontal drilling are valuable strengths for varied assignments.

Pay: $23.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
