Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Machine Learning Engineer. In this position, the engineer will design, implement, and optimize machine learning models, with a focus on understanding and improving the reliability and behavior of AI systems. Day-to-day tasks include developing and testing algorithms, building data pipelines, conducting experiments, and analyzing model performance using statistical methods.

The engineer will collaborate closely with researchers and engineers to integrate models into production systems, document methodologies, and contribute to internal tools for evaluation and governance.



The role also involves staying current with advances in machine learning and participating in code reviews and technical discussions to maintain high engineering standards.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Algorithms, including data structures and algorithmic problem-solving.
- Experience with Pattern Recognition and Statistics for modeling, evaluation, and performance analysis.
- Hands-on expertise with Neural Networks and modern machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in ML engineering (such as Python) and familiarity with software engineering best practices (version control, testing, code review).
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, working with large datasets, and deploying models to production environments.
- Understanding of responsible AI principles, model evaluation, and techniques for robustness, fairness, and transparency.
- Bachelor’s or master

's
- degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.
