Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, the Janitor is responsible to perform maintenance and housekeeping tasks. Operate machinery (large and small), Support construction and repairs of facility and be aware of site and equipment safety.

The hourly rate for this position is $19.00 CAD.

Duties &

Responsibilities

- Work with co-workers to ensure site is clean and operable for client needs
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools to complete maintenance tasks
- Maintain site, roads, grounds, fire pits or current construction projects
- Visual inspection of site and equipment to ensure safety for staff and clients when needed.

Qualifications

- Requires completion of High School diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent only
- Some practical or position related experience required
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check (including a Vulnerable Sector Screening) and Pre- Employment Medical
- Bilingualism (English and French) considered an asset
