About the Job: We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician with experience in food manufacturing. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll execute PMs and repairs that keep packaging, production and drying room equipment running.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform preventive maintenance, and unplanned repairs on equipment and facilities
- Ensure PMs are completed as scheduled
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and complete repairs
- Keep the CMMS complete and accurate

REQUIREMENTS

- 1–3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician
- Holds a millwright or industrial electrician trade certification (preferred). A refrigeration or HVAC license is a plus.
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience with thermoform or vacuum packaging equipment, HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Has solid electrical, mechanical, and controls skills
- Experience with using CMMS systems to manage work-orders and scheduling
- Day shifts with some evening and weekend OT in Whitby, ON
- Experience in food manufacturing environment
- Is organized and accountable, committed to fixing things properly the first time.
