Uzado — Security & IT Analyst, Managed ServicesNov 5, 2026 · @Sean Sullivan

Location: Remote | Type: Full-Time, Permanent The OpportunityUzado is a Canadian compliance-led Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) headquartered in Richmond Hill, Ontario. We deliver end-to-end IT, cybersecurity, and compliance solutions to B2B clients across Canada and the United States under our guiding promise: Reliability Today. Resilience for Tomorrow.

We are looking for a Security & IT Analyst to join our operations team. This is a hands-on technical role. You will deliver day-to-day managed services across a portfolio of clients, investigate and resolve security and IT issues, and act as a trusted technical contact for client IT teams. You will work across SecOps and ITOps, helping keep our clients secure, compliant, and operationally resilient.

This role suits someone with solid hands-on experience who wants to deepen their skills across a modern security stack, own client relationships at the technical level, and grow toward senior and architect-level roles.

Compliance is not an add-on at Uzado. It is the lens through which we deliver every security and IT service.

What You'll DoService Delivery

- Work assigned tickets in the ConnectWise queue through to resolution, meeting SLA commitments and keeping clients informed.
- Act as a tier-2/3 technical resource for client issues escalated from tier-1 support.
- Document work, findings, and resolutions clearly so the team and clients have an accurate record.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours escalations.

Security Operations (SecOps)
- Monitor EDR/XDR platforms (SentinelOne, Huntress) across client environments; triage and investigate alerts.
- Monitor SIEM alerting, tune detection rules, and drive threat investigations to resolution.
- Perform vulnerability scanning and remediation cycles using Qualys; produce client-facing risk reports and remediation road maps.
- Administer managed phishing simulation and security awareness training programs (KnowBe4 / Huntress SAT); report on outcomes monthly.
- Support incident response activities: contain, investigate, and document security incidents in partnership with client CIRT teams.
- Use UEBA capabilities (Gurucul)

for advanced behavioural threat detection on applicable client environments.

IT Operations (ITOps)
- Manage client Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 (O365) environments, including user provisioning, licensing, configuration, and health monitoring.
- Administer Okta identity and access management deployments; enforce MFA policies and access governance.
- Perform Fortinet firewall management, including rule reviews, patching, and configuration changes aligned to change management processes.
- Run proactive patch management cycles through ConnectWise RMM; track compliance and resolve exceptions.
- Maintain asset visibility and inventory accuracy using Lansweeper across managed client environments.
- Support network and cloud infrastructure management; assist with migrations and hosted workload management as required.

Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong technical relationships with client IT contacts; communicate proactively on risks, remediation, and service status.
- Participate in client service reviews; prepare and present performance reporting and metrics.
- Identify opportunities to expand services in existing accounts and relay them to the account management team.

What You BringExperience
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience in managed IT and/or managed security environments.
- Track record of managing client relationships and delivering against SLA commitments in an MSP/MSSP context.
- Experience working in a multi-tenant environment with responsibility for multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ownership of outcomes: you see issues through from first alert to documented resolution.
