Overview The Massage Therapist/Acupuncturist provides attentive, individualized care through massage therapy and/or acupuncture, supporting patient comfort and well-being. The role involves communicating clearly, understanding patient needs, and contributing to a coordinated care experience.
Duties
- Discuss patient concerns and care preferences, explain treatment approaches, and respond respectfully to questions.
- Provide massage therapy and acupuncture suited to patient needs, while observing comfort and communicating throughout care.
- Maintain clear, accurate patient records and share relevant updates with colleagues to support continuity of care.
- Use medical terminology appropriately when documenting care and communicating with the care team.

Experience Required: Practical patient care skills, clear communication, and the ability to document treatment accurately and use medical terminology in care-related communication. Preferred: Hospital experience and familiarity with patient care in a clinical setting, along with strengths in attentive listening, professionalism, and collaboration with colleagues.
