Lead medical strategy and scientific content at BGBx, guiding brand messaging, deliverables, and client-facing collaboration across healthcare projects.

The Medical Director serves as the medical strategy and content lead for assigned brands. This role provides strategic guidance from kickoff through execution, reviews deliverables, writes and annotates content, and supports planning. It also develops team capability through onboarding, training, and mentoring Associate Medical Directors and medical writers.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee translation and execution of brand strategy and client expectations

Guide teams on messaging, style, and strategic medical direction

Review deliverables for accuracy, standards, and strategic alignment

Lead medical planning, kickoffs, calls,



and advisory boards

Communicate with clients and KOLs while building qualified relationships

Requirements

Advanced degree including PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent

Three to four years in pharmaceutical advertising

Experience with healthcare professional promotional workstreams preferred

Experience managing and mentoring junior medical team members

Experience partnering with creative, strategy, and account teams
