Job Overview The Medical Office Assistant (MOA) supports daily clinical office operations through organized front-desk service and accurate administrative work. This role helps patients navigate appointments and office processes while enabling clinical colleagues to focus on care.

We are looking for a skilled, compassionate, and experienced Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our growing family healthcare team.

The Ideal Candidate

We are particularly interested in candidates with hands-on clinical experience who can confidently support both physicians and patients in a busy family practice environment.

Key Requirements

- Previous experience as a Medical Office Assistant in a Canadian clinical setting.
- Proficiency in Juno EMR or a comparable electronic medical records system.
- Strong clinical knowledge, including patient intake, vital signs, examination room preparation, and assisting physicians with clinical procedures within the scope of training.
- Experience managing patient appointments, referrals, laboratory requisitions,



and medical documentation.
- Familiarity with OHIP billing and Ontario healthcare workflows.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a busy family practice and walk-in clinic.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality, professionalism, and compassionate care.
