About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Millwork Laminator / Cabinet Assembler to join our production team. You'll laminate, trim, and assemble countertops, cabinets, and complex millwork for both residential and commercial projects, working from blueprints and shop drawings to deliver precise, high-quality work.

Responsibilities

- Laminate countertops, panels, cabinets, and millwork using contact cement and adhesives
- Trim, rout, and file laminate edges cleanly and accurately
- Assemble and join cabinetry and complex millwork with tight, clean joints and proper fit
- Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Measure, cut, and fit materials to exact specifications
- Operate shop tools and equipment (routers, laminate trimmers, panel saws, edge banders)
- Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy
- Keep your work area clean and organized, and clean up after every job
- Follow all health and safety rules, including proper PPE use and protected tool handling
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials as needed




- Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members about job progress and issues

Requirements

- Experience in laminating, millwork, cabinetry, or countertop fabrication
- Experience with residential and commercial projects (kitchens, vanities, reception desks, store fixtures, office millwork, etc.)
- Ability to assemble cabinetry and complex millwork
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Solid understanding of shop safety and WHMIS
- Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic
- Efficient and able to multitask in a fast-paced shop
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to speak, read, and understand English (for safety instructions, blueprints, and team communication)
- Valid driver's licence (G licence)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Assets (Nice to Have)

- Valid forklift certification
- Experience with CNC, edge banding, or solid surface fabrication
- Own hand tools

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
