Lead underground safety performance at Agnico Eagle’s Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, using field leadership and hazard management expertise. Work a 7/7 schedule supporting operational areas. Reporting to the Health and Safety General Supervisor, this advisor supports workers, supervisors, contractors, and site leadership.

The position emphasizes workplace inspections, incident response, risk assessments, and coaching. You will help strengthen protected work practices while supporting regulatory compliance, environmental stewardship, and Agnico Eagle’s Health and Safety Code of Conduct.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide visible field leadership across operational areas
- Conduct inspections, observations, and field interactions




- Coach supervisors and workers on hazard recognition
- Respond to incidents and support investigations
- Monitor critical controls and corrective actions Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three years of relevant experience
- Understanding of underground mining hazards
- Knowledge of Ontario mining safety legislation
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency Apply underground mining, coaching, inspection, and incident investigation expertise to advance safety performance at Macassa Mine.
