Mining Project Engineer applies project management and engineering support skills at Trekor’s Gibraltar Mine in Williams Lake, BC. This full time Technical Services position supports maintenance projects across a complex industrial mining setting. The engineer interacts with site departments, engineering firms, suppliers, and contractors to address safety concerns and deliver engineered solutions. The role reports to the Senior Engineer, Projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Ministry of Mines and WorkSafeBC standards
- Liaise with project partners during project execution
- Address identified safety concerns with engineered solutions
- Review internally and externally developed engineering drawings
- Mentor junior and intermediate Technical Services members Requirements:
- Degree in a related engineering discipline
- Five to seven years of mechanical project management experience
- EGBC registration as Professional Engineer or Engineer-In-Training
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid Canadian driver’s license Bring industrial project management, safety compliance, and engineering review experience to Technical Services at Gibraltar Mine.
