Modification Team Lead – Permanent, Full-time

As the Modification Team Lead, you will provide team leadership, mentoring and day-to-day guidance to our shop team who are responsible for modifying stock electric motors before they reach our customers.

In this role your primary job responsibilities will be:

▪ Determine alterations to stock electric motors based on customer requirements listed on work orders

▪ Perform work on modification jobs including but not limited to: o Shaft modification o Flange installation o Performing vibration testing o Installation of rings, seals or bearings o Painting motors including epoxy paint

▪ Consult with Supervisor to assign work to team members

▪ Assist and guide team members with disassembly and reassembly of modification jobs

▪ Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures

You will bring:

▪ Education or coursework as an electric motor technician; equivalencies will be considered

▪ Previous experience performing modifications, preventative maintenance,



troubleshooting and repair of electric motors or similar experience in a shop environment

▪ Basic computer skills including performing entry into shop management software

▪ Good attention to detail and a desire to perform high-quality work

▪ Enjoy finding solutions to difficult problems

▪ Interest in keeping up with technological changes

▪ Friendly attitude and willingness to help others

▪ Strong ability work with machines and tools with excellent hand-eye coordination

▪ Physical endurance and strength to perform required duties including lifting heavy items, more than 25 kilograms
