Mold Maker

:

· Build and assemble large plastic injection molds.

· Operate overhead crane.

· Interpret CAD design information relative to build activity. NX experience preferred.

· Complete understanding of hydraulics, manifolds, welding, spotting.

· Ability to prioritize operations in a multi-tasking environment.

· Ability to use hand tools, machine tools, and precision measuring tools

· Operate machinery, lathes, milling machines, and grinders

· Spotting of slides, lifters and inserts

· Plugging of core, cavity and component water

· Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a Mold Maker or similar role.

· Strong understanding of mold-making processes, materials, and tooling.

· Experience in spotting mold components, slides, lifters, inserts and parting lines.





· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.

· Proficiency in using milling machines, lathes, grinders, and other machine tools.

· Solid mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· 5+ years’ experience
