Turn mortgage documentation into sound lending decisions through underwriting expertise, lender research, and accurate file management. Work fully remote in Ontario. As an intermediate or senior Mortgage Underwriter, you will manage files from initial call notes through approval and Fulfillment handoff.

The role requires mortgage product knowledge, lender guideline research, documentation review, and confident communication. You will help keep multiple transactions moving while identifying requirements and responding to changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities: Review applications, borrower documents,



and qualification requirements Research lender guidelines and product requirements as needed Identify missing documentation and follow up proactively Submit files and pursue timely lender approvals Complete thorough handoffs to Fulfillment after underwriting Requirements: Ontario Mortgage Agent Level 1 licence or higher Previous hands-on mortgage underwriting experience Strong knowledge of mortgage products and lender guidelines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Velocity experience is a plus Bring careful documentation review, lender research, and mortgage product expertise to a dedicated underwriting function focused on accurate file progression.
