This Design and Construction Engineer provides Professional Engineering services for municipal construction projects. The position coordinates planning, design, construction, and maintenance while advising departments and supervising technical staff.

Responsibilities include plans, specifications, cost estimates, approvals, tendering, contracts, construction supervision, and infrastructure programs.

Key Responsibilities

Provide engineering services and sign and seal approval documents

Coordinate municipal project design, construction schedules, and tenders

Requirements

University degree in Civil Engineering

Qualified Engineer registration with the P.E.O.

Five years’ municipal infrastructure planning, design, construction, and maintenance experience

Knowledge of modeling, spreadsheet, database, and word-processing software

Valid Class G driver’s licence
