Role Description The Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain data pipelines that ensure reliable, secure, and scalable data flows across various systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and optimizing ETL processes, implementing data models, and managing data warehousing solutions to support analytics and reporting. The role involves collaborating with software engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements, improve data quality, and enable data-driven decision-making.

The Data

Engineer will also monitor performance,



troubleshoot data issues, and contribute to best practices for data governance and documentation. This is a full-time remote role.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing to build and manage scalable data infrastructures. Candidates should possess skills in Data Modeling and Extract Transform Load (ETL) development to design and optimize data pipelines. Candidates should possess skills in Data Analytics to support reporting, dashboards, and insight generation for business stakeholders.

Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (such as Python, Java, or Scala).

Experience with cloud data platforms and services (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and contemporary data tools (e.g., Spark, Kafka, dbt) is beneficial. Understanding of data governance, data security, and best practices for data quality and documentation. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple priorities.
