Salary

NP35 (CAD52.31 - CAD64.92 per hour) plus a bi-weekly pensionable Market Adjustment up to a maximum of $415.35 (currently approved until Feb 28, 2027 with possibility of extension)

The following Incentives may be applicable and can be combined:

1. Signing bonus up to $10,000 (up to $14,000 if facility is located off the TCH – Rural Sites)
2. Come Home Incentive up to $60,000
3. Health Professional Bursary (student) up to $10,000

Demands, duties, qualifications

Qualifications: Current registration with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Nurses and a current Nurse Practitioner license are required. Completion of a Canadian Recognized wound care management program (e.g. the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course)



is preferred A minimum of five years recent clinical experience with demonstrated competency and clinical expertise in wound care management is preferred. The incumbent must demonstrate solid written and oral communication skills.

The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships is essential.

Experience working independently with limited supervision and a willingness to travel are also required.

- A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is a requirement for this position.

Please Note: The ability to travel within the Western Region and use of a private vehicle is a condition of employment. If no suitable candidate with a Canadian recognized wound care management program is found, consideration may be given to those candidates who are prepared to enroll in the program within two years of appointment.
