Hours

75 (8 hours; Days)

0800-1600 and 0830-1630 Hours.

Salary

NP35 (CAD52.31 - CAD64.92 per hour) plus a bi-weekly pensionable Market Adjustment up to a maximum of $415.35 (currently approved until Feb 28, 2027 with possibility of extension)

Demands, duties, qualifications

Qualifications: Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador, graduation from an approved School of Nursing and successful completion of the Nurse Practitioner Program are required. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate an acceptable level of competency in organizational, leadership, interpersonal, team building, communication,



decision making and computer skills through an interview process. The successful candidate should possess considerable clinical experience in the care of the older adult population.

Certification with the Canadian Nurses’ Association in Gerontological Nursing is preferred. The incumbent must demonstrate solid written and oral communication skills. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience working independently.

Maintaining

Certification in BCLS is also required. A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
