Crozier's family practice is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing high quality care. This position is a great prospect for a Nurse Practitioner seeking a position that includes a variety of care environments. The successful candidate's role will involve being a primary health care provider for a medically diverse comprehensive family medicine practice, including pediatrics, geriatrics, LGBTQ, and well-woman care. We are a fun clinic, I am adaptable and flexible, and value my staff immensely.

Working as a partner at Dr. M. Crozier's family practice, the Nurse Practitioner functions independently to provide full primary care services with Dr. M. Crozier always available for consultation, if needed. Other physicians and NPs work in close proximity in the building and support each other when difficult patient cases arise and second opinions are needed.

This is a role you can make your own while practising in a work environment that fosters continuous learning and clinical skill development as a primary care practitioner. There are plenty of opportunities for the NP to perform in-office procedures, including biopsies and joint injections.

Qualifications:





· Current registration in good standing as a Registered Nurse in the Extended Class with the College of Nurses of Ontario

· Completion of a recognized Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program

· Able to prescribe controlled substances as authorized by the CNO

· Participates in CNO Quality Assurance Program

· Has and maintains professional liability insurance

· Current membership with the College of Nurses of Ontario and professional association NPAO and/or RNAO

· Strong interpersonal, organizational, collaborative and problem-solving skills

· Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and to assess situations and problems efficiently and effectively

· Proficiency in the use of computers and experience with PS Suites EMR

· Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner is an asset, but not needed.

Salary:

Meets or exceeds Family Health Team/CHC/Nursing Home/Hospital salary for Nurse Practitioners and includes benefits.
