Resilience Mobile Health and Chronic Illness Support Inc. is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their multidisciplinary team. This is a new private mobile health and wellness clinic that aims to provide a high standard of customized care to patients in their homes, offices or hotels. We will be launching in early 2027, providing care to Calgary and Rocky View County.
This exciting opportunity is for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to offer exceptional patient-centred care to all ages, in the mobile health setting. You will practice within the full range of your scope, with the focus being on providing in-home physical check-ups, the assessment and diagnoses of illnesses, injuries or ailments, offering intravenous (IV) therapies, prescribing medications, prescription refills, ordering labs and other diagnostic tests, offering follow-ups to review labs and more. We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner that prides themselves on offering a comprehensive patient experience, combining advanced levels of nursing and medical competencies.
Job Requirements
- Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program, with a minimum of a Master's degree
- Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) on the Nurse Practitioner registrar
- Must have current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification
- Experience in a multitude of primary care environments is required
- Must have medical malpractice and commercial general liability insurance with coverage no less than two million dollars per claim
- You are required to have your own vehicle with current driver's license and auto insurance and be comfortable commuting to and from patient locations
- Must have experience with EMR systems and be the legal custodian for the mobile health clinic's EMR platform in order to adhere to the Health Information Act (this would take place during onboarding process)
- It is your responsibility to provide proof of your WCB Alberta account, or a clearance letter, when applicable
- Use of your own laptop or tablet to conduct all EMR functions is required
- Must possess an up-to-date police information check and vulnerable sector check through the Calgary Police Service
- Upholding high levels of cleanliness, sanitization, infection prevention protocols and disinfecting procedures, as per AHS and CRNA standards is compulsory
- Must wear and utilize appropriate PPE when with patients
This role will be the perfect fit for you if you are looking for a part-time commitment that can grow as the mobile clinic grows. You will be an independent contractor, so we can be adaptable with scheduling. The company will provide your equipment and supplies, handle all billing, payments, patient communications and scheduling. As we grow, there will be an opportunity for the role of Clinical Lead as well.
