As Assistant Country Occupational Health

Manager, you will provide clinical and operational leadership to occupational health nurses, case management advisors, and contracted practitioners. The work covers fitness-for-work determinations, return-to-work planning, accommodation reviews, WCB claims, and medical surveillance. You will also support recruitment, workload planning, performance management, and global best-practice implementation.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide clinical oversight for complex occupational health cases
- Escalate disputed case management files and urgent clinical matters
- Coach, develop,



and manage Occupational Health Department personnel
- Coordinate coverage across refining, offshore, oil sands, and pipeline operations
- Support standardized systems, transformation, and change management Requirements:
- Occupational Medicine or Public Health post-graduate training
- FRCPC, CCBOM, FCBOM, or equivalent qualifications
- Two to five years of supervisory or management experience
- Alberta licensure; Ontario registration is an asset
