Job summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team in North Bay. This clinic-based role involves assessment and treatment to restore functional independence and participation in daily living and work activities. The position involves working with clients with physical and mental health conditions and collaborating on interdisciplinary teams of physicians, physiotherapists, psychotherapists, and kinesiologists to promote safety, recovery, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

· Assess and treat clients who have multiple traumas, complex orthopedic injuries, neurological injuries, and mental health conditions.





· Communicate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize functional outcomes.

· Complete reports for third party payers including WSIB, Veteran’s Affairs, and long-term disability insurers.

· Perform worksite assessments, job demands analysis, and ergonomic assessments

· Deliver job coaching, cognitive work hardening, and support gradual return‑to‑work programs

· Develop, implement, and monitor goal‑directed return to daily living programs

· Provide education to clients and caregivers to support participation in meaningful occupations

· Delivering services in clinical, home, community, and workplace settings

· Maintain timely, accurate, and professional clinical documentation

· Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, insurers, employers, and community stakeholders

Qualifications

· Registered or eligible for registration and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)

· Strong interpersonal, organizational, and clinical documentation skills

· Ability to work independently and manage caseload responsibilities effectively

· Experience in community rehabilitation, mental health, WSIB, MVA,



and Veteran’s Affairs is considered an asset but not required

· Recent graduates and new practitioners are encouraged to apply and will be supported through mentorship and onboarding
