On-Site Equipment Specialist

This might just be the coolest job in the world.

Crazy Ape Extreme Equipment designs and manufactures trampoline systems, ninja courses, and technical crash pads. As our On-Site Equipment Specialist, you’ll help bring these attractions to life at projects across North America. This is a hands-on role combining installations, mechanical troubleshooting, travel, and the satisfaction of seeing a project through from our shop to the finished attraction.

Role:

We are looking for a skilled On-Site Equipment Specialist who is hands-on, technically proficient, and capable of leading the installation and maintenance of complex equipment. This position involves traveling to various client sites across North America to manage installations, equipment upkeep, and special projects ranging from luxury residential trampoline installs to large-scale trampoline parks and adventure facilities.

One week you may be driving our 3/4-ton Sprinter van across multiple states for installations, and the next you could be operating equipment on a commercial build site or troubleshooting systems at an APEX Adventure Plex location.

This role reports directly to the Director of Operations and involves collaboration with Warehouse, Manufacturing, and Operations teams across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Commercial Installations: Lead and support installations of trampoline parks, ninja courses, inflatables, and custom trampoline systems.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate tools, trailers, skid steers, forklifts, telehandlers, and company vehicles.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair tools, trailers, vehicles, and facility equipment. We appreciate nice toys,

and we take pride in keeping them well maintained and mission-ready.
- Event & Logistics Support: Deliver and set up equipment for trade shows, activations, and installations across North America.
- Technical Assistance: Troubleshoot issues, solve problems independently, and assist with special projects, renovations, and construction tasks.
- Manufacturing Support: Assist Crazy Ape fulfillment and warehouse operations as needed.
- Facility & Property Maintenance: Support snow removal, lawn care, and general upkeep at Regina facilities.
- Professional Site Conduct: Represent Crazy Ape professionally on luxury residential and commercial construction sites while maintaining safety standards and organized work areas.

Required:

- Ability to travel for extended periods during busy seasons (domestic and international)
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Comfortable driving 3/4-ton and 1-ton vehicles and hauling trailers
- Experience operating heavy equipment (skid steers, forklifts, telehandlers, etc.)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently without constant direction
- Team leadership and communication skills
- Comfortable wearing required PPE including hard hats, safety vests, and steel-toed boots

- Willingness to assist with property and facility maintenance
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Preferred:

- Farm equipment, automotive, or heavy-duty mechanical experience
- Welding, fabrication, or metalworking experience
- Construction or commercial installation experience

Work-Life Balance This role can involve long drives, demanding install schedules, and time on the road during peak season. We work hard when the job demands it, but we also respect work-life balance and expect team members to balance intense installation trips with proper downtime and recovery. Need to help with harvest? We offer flexibility for harvest commitments, with time away planned in advance around installation and travel schedules.

Compensation & Benefits:

- Competitive salary based on experience
- Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and health spending account
- Opportunities for career development and career growth
- Travel opportunities across North America

Why Join Crazy Ape Extreme Equipment? At Crazy Ape, we’re more than a manufacturer - we’re pioneers redefining the recreational and professional training industry. If you enjoy hands-on work, travel, problem solving, and building unique projects, this role offers an opportunity unlike anything else in the industry. Resumes can be sent to [email protected] .
