Summary

As an Operations Manager for our Rental Program in Canmore, you will play a vital role in supporting property management operations to ensure a seamless experience for our guests and owners. This position is essential to maintaining our high standards of service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities for this role include:

- Overseeing and managing all aspects of the daily operations of the guest services team
- Building, retaining, engaging, and empowering a strong service orientated team who contribute to a positive working environment
- Building and maintaining strong, professional relationships with all guests, owners, stakeholders, suppliers, contractors, and community members with the ability to negotiate effectively
- Working with the Regional General Manager to create and execute a financial plan and budget for the departments
- Managing the performance of the departments and employees through effective KPI indicators, goal setting, and targets
- Having exceptional knowledge of vacation rental facilities and services
- Working closely with the Housekeeping and Maintenance teams to manage room cleanliness and preparation
- Managing and monitoring all related costs including labor, inventory, and maintenance
- Managing the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of associates
- Completing various administrative tasks including payroll, inventory, scheduling, invoicing, and ordering with attention to detail for accuracy
- Constantly seeking out ways to improve guest service and increase owner satisfaction
- Graciously handling guest and associate concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Complying with all legislative requirements and internal standards, policies, and procedures while upholding the company’s core values




- Other relevant and related duties as assigned

The “must haves”:

- 2+ years of management in a full-service hotel, multi- unit vacation rental program, or property management
- Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to plan, organize, delegate and inspire
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Proficient knowledge of computers, including using Microsoft Office Suite, Customer Relationship Management technology such as Delphi, Salespro or Triple SeatForce, as well as Property Management systems such as Cloudbeds, Skytouch, HMS etc.
- Qualified applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada and, where applicable, possess a valid work or study permit that allows the candidate to fulfill the requirements of the role

The “nice to haves”:

- Completed post-secondary education in a related field such as Hotel/Restaurant Management, Business Management and/or Commerce, or Property Management
- Valid certification in First Aid
