Oracle DBA Toronto, ON- Hybrid (3 Days Per Week) 12 Months Contract 8–10 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
Oracle Application DBA Expertise: 8 years specializing in Oracle Database (12c/19c) application support, advanced PL/SQL programming, execution plan analysis, and performance diagnostics (AWR, ASH, ADDM).
AWS Cloud Databases: Practical experience administering managed database services, including Amazon RDS (Oracle/PostgreSQL) and Amazon Aurora.
PostgreSQL: Hands-on working knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, schema design, and performance optimization.
Cloud Migration Experience: Solid, proven track record of migrating on-premises databases to AWS environments using tools such as AWS DMS, SCT, or native utilities. Collaboration & Release Management: Solid background in CI/CD integration for database deployments and working alongside Agile engineering teams. Ability to work with offshore teams for maintenance and production support activities.
