Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Time & Labor (OTL) Functional Consultant for an exciting backfill opportunity supporting an active IBM engagement.

The ideal candidate brings deep functional expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Time & Labor, combined with hands-on experience in configuration, production support, implementation, and complex issue resolution. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth system operations by addressing business requirements, troubleshooting functional roadblocks, and working collaboratively alongside technical and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Functional Leadership: Provide expert-level functional guidance in Oracle EBS Time & Labor (OTL) modules.
- Requirements Analysis: Translate complex business requirements into scalable, efficient functional solutions.
- System Configuration: Configure and maintain Oracle EBS Time & Labor modules to match evolving business needs.
- Core OTL Support: Oversee and support time entry, timecard management, approval workflows, validation rules, and time processing cycles.




- Troubleshooting & Incident Resolution: Diagnose and resolve functional issues related to timecards, data entry, and approval pathways, delivering robust production support.
- Integration & Ecosystem: Partner closely with other Oracle EBS HCM modules and related system integrations.
- Testing Execution: Support comprehensive testing phases, including functional testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Documentation: Create and maintain clear functional documentation, configuration guides, and end-to-end process flows.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate seamlessly with technical teams and business stakeholders to drive system enhancements and resolve operational hurdles.

Qualifications & Ideal Skill Set

- Proven track record as an Oracle EBS Time & Labor Functional Consultant.
- Strong hands-on experience with OTL setup, timecard rules, validations, and approvals.
- Familiarity with broader Oracle EBS HCM modules and cross-functional integrations.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote contract setting.
