Support critical OT infrastructure as a Systems and Network Administrator at Suncor’s Base Plant Mine in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Apply networking, firewalls, and cybersecurity expertise. This position supports recent installations, expansions, and existing operational technology systems.

You will monitor infrastructure, troubleshoot cabling through application issues, and maintain reliable, secure operations. The role requires stakeholder collaboration, technical decision-making, and management of change.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, commission, and maintain OT systems and networks
- Monitor systems daily using management applications
- Troubleshoot network and system issues, including after-hours on-call support




- Perform preventative maintenance and document technical procedures
- Apply safety policies and management of change processes Requirements:
- Engineering or Computer Science degree, diploma, or equivalent
- Five to ten years’ Systems and Network Administrator experience
- Knowledge configuring and supporting OT networks and firewalls
- Understanding of cybersecurity practices in OT environments
- Ability to influence stakeholders on technical decisions Bring OT networking, troubleshooting, and cybersecurity experience to maintain dependable systems at Suncor’s Fort McMurray operation.
