Duties

- Assist experienced painters with setting up spray equipment, drying racks, ventilation, and work areas.
- Apply primers and spray coatings to smaller items under supervision and with appropriate training.
- Use hand tools and power tools, including orbital sanders, drills, and dust extraction equipment.
- Inspect prepared surfaces for imperfections and assist with minor repairs and filling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment throughout each project.
- Assist with loading, unloading, transporting, and organizing tools, equipment, and materials.
- Follow established Spray-Net preparation procedures, quality standards,
and safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Treat customers' homes and belongings with care, maintaining a professional and respectful attitude.
Skills
- Previous experience in painting, construction, renovations, cabinetry, or surface preparation is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools, particularly sanders and drills.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when masking, sanding, and preparing surfaces.
- Good manual dexterity and the ability to perform precise, hands-on work.
- Ability to follow instructions, learn new techniques, and consistently meet quality standards.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Physically capable of standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting equipment or cabinet components throughout the workday.
- Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and committed to producing quality work.
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Interest in learning professional spray-painting techniques and developing into a skilled painter.
- Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Lower Mainland.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop valuable skills in professional cabinet refinishing and spray painting while working alongside strong team players. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to the small details, works well with others, and wants to grow with the company.
