ACE Tutoring is a new tutoring academy based in Burnaby, British Columbia, dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized education in small-group settings.

We offer Mathematics and language tutoring programs designed to help students strengthen their academic foundations, improve communication skills, and build confidence.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Part-Time French Tutor to join our growing teaching team.

Position Overview The French Tutor will provide engaging instruction to students at various proficiency levels, focusing on academic achievement, language development, and practical communication skills.

Our classes are taught in small groups of 2–5 students, allowing tutors to provide personalized attention and support.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach French to elementary and secondary school students, including Core French and French Immersion learners.
- Support speaking,



listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation development.
- Deliver engaging lessons to small groups of up to five students.
- Adapt teaching methods to different learning abilities and proficiency levels.
- Follow established curriculum guidelines and teaching resources.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive, supportive, and interactive learning environment.
- Prepare for assigned lessons and participate in training when required.
- Adapt to online teaching as ACE Tutoring expands its programs.

Qualifications

Required:

- Strong proficiency in spoken and written French.
- Ability to explain French grammar and language concepts clearly.
- Good English communication skills.
- Patience, reliability, enthusiasm, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Availability during weekday evenings and weekends.
- Ability to teach in person in Burnaby, BC.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
- Willingness to complete an appropriate criminal record check

Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour Expected hours: 2.0 – 10.0 per week
