Part time Registered Nurse

At Dr.Preutu Clinic, we are looking for a Part Time Registered Nurse to join our team.

Location: Crown Point Family Health Centre, Kenilworth, Hamilton

Job Type: Part Time, 2 and half days a week

Hours: 18hours

Salary: $30 - $32cad per hour depending on experience.

Start date: As soon as possible

About the Job

We are seeking a passionate, proactive registered nurse to join our agile team.

The ideal candidate will be responsibility will be to work closely with the family physician at one of our 2 clinic location to provide clinical support to practice full time. You will perform the initial patient assessment at each visit and assist with diagnosis and treatment plans. You will have the opportunity to perform procedures within the nursing scope of practice including:

immunizations, assist with minor procedure, wound dressing, wart treatment, pap tests, ear syringing, administer medications and injections as prescribed and suture removal. Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant information. You will also triage patient telephone calls as necessary and relay test results to patients over telephone.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans. Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families

Qualification: The ideal candidate must possess a current certification of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario as an RN/RPN and maintain membership in the RNAO. Previous primary care experience is preferred. A Nursing License is required. Experience in a primary care setting preferred but not required.

Required Skills.

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills -Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced,



team-oriented environment -Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail -Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Knowledge of Avaros electronic medical records (EMR) systems is an asset. Experience in chronic disease management, Well Baby Check, Wound care and Well women health check is desirable.
