Responsibilities:

- Measuring and mixing ingredients following standard recipes to produce pastries, creams, confits, mousses, and more
- Making dough and batter for an array of pastries including tarts, cookies, cakes, and more
- Making sweet and savory fillings in the style of pastry cream, fruit confit, ganache, frangipane, gelée, caramel, and more
- Decorating buttercream cakes based on set designs and custom requests
- Serving customers and preparing coffee and tea
- Following food safety standards and maintaining a clean, sanitized work workplace
- Stocking and putting away inventory following FIFO standards

Requirements:

- Work early mornings (5:30am start times)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a pastry cook, baker or related field.
- Demonstrated ability in baking pastries, cakes, cookies, and tarts
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Fluent in english
- Able to lift up to 25KG of equipment and ingredients
