Evening care during the week needed for a paraplegic man and Morning and evening shift’s Saturdays and Sundays every other weekend.
Morning duties include assisting with transfers on and off a medical bed and commode, showering (on Saturdays only), personal care, getting dressed and leg exercises; making a sandwich for lunch, doing light housekeeping, and assisting with transfers on and off a stairlift.
Evening duties include heating pre-made dinners and doing light housekeeping; assisting with transfers on and off a stairlift and onto a medical bed, personal care, leg exercises, and getting undressed for bed.
Morning shifts are from 8 am to 11 am on Saturdays and from 8 am to 10:30 am on Sundays. Evening shifts are from 6 pm to 8 pm.
Fill-in shifts on weekdays may be available when needed.Possibility of additional evening shifts on the alternate weekend or on a weekday in the future.
Non-smokers only. Access to a vehicle is required.
Pay: $25 per hour and $3 travel pay per shift (plus 4% vacation pay, less deductions for taxes and advantages).
