We connect patients with clinicians through virtual care and are developing integrated pharmacy services to support a smooth journey from consultation and prescribing to medication counselling, dispensing, and delivery.

About the Role

We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and patient-focused Licensed Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team in Burnaby, BC.

You will provide direct patient care and work closely with our clinical and operations teams to support patients receiving treatment through Fastreat. You will also help develop pharmacy workflows, strengthen medication safety, and expand patient-focused services as the platform grows.

This role would suit someone who values professional independence, enjoys collaborating across disciplines, and is interested in the integration of pharmacy services with virtual healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess and accurately dispense prescriptions, ensuring safe and appropriate medication use.
- Provide medication counselling, patient education, and clinical recommendations, including remotely where appropriate.
- Support patients receiving treatment for ADHD, mental health conditions, weight management, and other services offered through Fastreat.




- Collaborate with prescribers and clinical teams to clarify prescriptions, address medication-related concerns, and support continuity of care.
- Support safe handling, dispensing, documentation, and reconciliation of controlled medications.
- Coordinate prescription processing, refills, patient communications, and medication delivery with relevant teams.
- Conduct medication reviews and provide clinical pharmacy services within your authorized scope of practice.
- Administer injections and vaccinations, and assess and prescribe for minor ailments and contraception, where authorized and appropriately trained.
- Maintain compliance with College of Pharmacists of British Columbia standards and applicable legislation.
- Support inventory management, purchasing, record keeping, and daily pharmacy operations.
- Help develop SOPs and improve workflows connecting virtual consultations with pharmacy services.
- Identify opportunities to improve medication adherence, patient experience, and health outcomes.

Qualifications

Required:

- Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia, or eligible for registration before starting practice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.




- Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and quality care.
- Ability to exercise independent professional judgment and collaborate with clinical and operational teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfort using pharmacy software and digital communication tools.

Preferred:

- Experience in outpatient pharmacy, medication delivery, or pharmacy services integrated with a clinic or virtual care platform.
- Experience supporting patients taking ADHD, psychiatric, or weight-management medications.
- Experience with controlled-medication management, insurance billing, and inventory control.
- Injection certification and experience providing clinical pharmacy services.
- Interest in developing workflows and expanding pharmacy services within a growing healthcare platform.
